Batman is a little bit better then it was last month.  It’s still not nearly as good as Batman & Robin #1 & 2.  It wasn’t better then Streets Of Gotham #1 either.  To be honest with you, I think the most recent issue of Batman Confidential was more fun.

I don’t know what it is about Winick’s Batman lately.  It just doesn’t swing like Morrison’s and Dini’s stuff.  Out of all the Batman Reborn stuff I’ve read, and I think Outsiders is the only one I hadn’t bothered with, I find Winick on Batman to be the least interesting.

Should I ever put up a fight about Winick moving off of Batman so fast and Tony Daniels coming in?  I mean Under The Hood and BFTC are practically the same story anyway.  I wouldn’t even really notice a difference on there.

Batman #688 really delivers in the beginning with what you’ve probably already seen in previews, but everything just falls so damn flat after that.  I just don’t care about Two Face and Penguin anymore.  They really need to either step their game up, or get out of it.
