Finally this long arc comes to a close. Though this arc was outstanding, I did start to feel a little fatigued like with the Dark Angel Saga on Uncanny X-Force. I should’ve guessed that after all the issues of Batman fighting that this issue Batman was held down and talked down to by Lincoln March, a.k.a. “Thomas Wayne Jr.” a.k.a. “Owlman” for a good majority of the book. Batman gets one over on him by placing a tiny bomb on his back. BTW I have no idea when or how he got the bomb on him because for most of the encounter Owlman has Batman’s hand wrapped up and he’s being dragged behind him. The only time he had the chance to place that bomb on him was on page 3 panel 1. After the fighting is done, Bruce has a conversation with Dick and this really brought down the already conversation heavy issue. Greg Capullo’s art seemed a bit less terrific too. His art reminded me of John Romita Jr. when a full bodied Batman is in a panel, but the close ups were good. I find it funny that the Court of Owls made a design flaw in the Talon’s masks by making the eyes glass. So their biggest weakness is their eyes.
