Say what you will about Batgirl or DC’s treatment of Gail Simone.But Batgirl is definitely a gem of the DotF storyline.

There’s no way to write this review without spoiling it so i’ll just say that the story is quick and relentless.The Joker seems less “kooky” as he is in Batman where “maybe he will, maybe he won’t kill you”.Here he seems just as evil, angry and manipulative as he should be (I love both depictions honestly).

The art is good, captures the franticness of these events as Batgirl fights life or death to keep the Joker from taking what’s most important to her.
