I'm so disappointed!! I really enjoy Nguyen's art style, and it is perfect for Batman stories. BatMAN! Not BatGIRL!! I have no idea why they took him off Dini's Streets Of Gotham run unless it's gonna be canceled after House Of Hush wraps up, and that will be another disappointment!! DC really needs to get their ducks in a row FAST!!
Now I hate to talk shit on Nguyen's art, I've been loving it since Paul Dini and him started their run on Tec which I have ALL of, but I can't say anything good about it here because Nguyen isn't drawing anything interesting. The reason he isn't drawing anything interesting here is a simple one: Because the story is boring!!
Until the last page where we see a cliffhanger ending of the GCPD attempting to arrest Batgirl for a murder she is innocent of, there wasn't a single interesting thing happening the whole time!! The really sad part is that last month's issue was just as boring!! Who the hell cares about three dimensional Draculas jumping out of the screen, even if Supergirl shows up to help Batgirl save the day?
That's two strikes, and we all know what happens when there is a third. In the words of Snoop Dog: "DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT!! DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT!!"
It feels like Batgirl is going right down the same road Red Robin did for me in my book. It started off with some really half decent stuff, but slowly turned into crap I could careless about after it had been around for a year or so.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good

Yeah, why is Nguyen doing art on this instead of doing House of Hush? It’s just bizarre. Is Dini way behind in the script or something?
Jee-yah, DNguyen was sloppy in this, not indicative of his cover art at all unfortunately.
