    As someone who has not read all the Cassandra stuff and this Network thing you mention, I have to say that this issue read just fine without it. This was about Steph, and it played like that. If the question is "Why would she take over?" then that seems to be exactly what she herself is questioning. Which makes me think that’s what this arc is about.

    That said, I agree with your rating. It’s good but nothing really innovative. I doubt I’ll continue.

    Well I’d rather have Stephanie Brown as Batgirl rather than Spoiler.  Spoiler is such a dumb costume. I hope they focus on Cassandra Cain in this series as well.  Its got Oracle in it too.  Batgirls’r'us and shit.
