This is without a doubt the best issue of AVX: VS. It’s not because of the fighting, it never is with this book. It’s that the first fight, which is Daredevil against Psylocke, is a great story through inner-dialogue between the two and the second fight, which is between Thor and Emma Frost is great because of Kaare Andrews’ art. Brandon Peterson’s art on the Daredevil Psylocke fight isn’t bad either, but when Rick Remender is writing you pay attention to what people are saying. I found it funny that Daredevil didn’t want to use Elektra’s name he just referenced her. Kaare Andrews’ art made me want to find more of his work in which he’s written and drawn it himself and isn’t that what all artists want?

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 4 - Very Good

  1. Daredevil vs Psylocke was amazing; Remender showed how well he knows Ms. Braddock, and did right by Mr. Murdock as well. Loved the outcome as this was a tough one, and the art by Peterson was superb. Thor vs Emma Frost was quite primal.
