Just when I was feeling like dropping this series, Marvel sucked me back in. Last issue's cliffhanger pays off big time in this book. Hickman brings his A-game by introducing us to the "new world order" by jumping through scenes a brisk pace but also through the perspective of the supporting cast (Xavier, T'Challa, Beast) from the previous Act. If you liked Copiel in "Siege" you'll love his stuff here, His art is cleanly rendered, but his panel work is a little hard to follow, but art wise, it's a huge step up from JRJr's previous 5 issues. You can finally see why Axel Alonso has been spearheading this project since he took over as EIC. The possibilities for the Marvel Universe show great promise in the future. Let's hope the writers take advantage of them.
