JR Jr. is an amazing artist in his own right.  He does great faces and panels with one or two characters involved.  However, when he tries to go all George Perez and cram as many characters as he can into a panel, it gets very sloppy.  A lot of detail is lost and character look bland and indistinct.  Also, he needs to make Maria Hill look like a woman; too often you could easily confuse her for a man.  Finally colorist Dean White seems to not know which Wolverine costume to use; the first time we see him it looks like he’s in the yellow-brown classic, but then it looks like he’s back in his yellow-blue outfit the next time he pops up.  I like both, but please just pick one (preferably the yellow-blue since that’s what he was wearing last issue).

As for the story … BUILD THE DAMN TIME MACHINE ALREADY!  This seems to be taking forever and unnecessarily so.  Also, when they are in the SHIELD barber shop base, Wolverine mentions that it has the smell of Fury on it, almost as if, you know, HE’D NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE!  WITH BUCKY!  That really got to me.  Finally, it seems as if this storyline is Bendis trying to play with as many random toys as possible, as the antagonist of the issue and the final panel show.  Can we just get back to the main story, please?
