I’d swear I read the first two issues of this mini, but I was completely lost at the beginning of this issue.  Not that it was hard to follow, but I feel like I missed some very important events involving Tesla and the old days of Atomic Robo.

Once I surrendered to my ignorance, and began reading this as though it were the first issue of a new Atomic Robo story, I came to the following conclusion: this was not a well-written issue.  It’s really spastic in its pacing, and the dialogue, which has been so strong in the other issues (I’m speaking of the shole series, not just the current mini) felt a little klunky.  Not awful, but not as willfully finessed as in previous issues.

The art is gorgeous and fun, as always, and, untilmately, that’s why I read this title anyway.
