Well, I believe this is the first, and likely only time I’ll ever read
an Archie comic.

 I was very surprised to see how…I don’t want to say
good, solid, maybe?

This story is obviously going to be wiped away
after the 6 issue story, but that doesn’t really matter. It is
incredible to actually see some sort of development, even for a such a 
relatively little time as this is going to be.

Having never read this
series before, I still knew who about 95% of the characters were, and
was surprised at how much development was given them in the little
amount of time they were on screen. Granted everyone was written in
broad strokes, but it’s Archie what do you expect.

This issue read like
Archie’s whatever happened to the Man of Tomorrow. They seemed to shoe
horn in every character just so they had an end cap.

There were a lot
of little things that I though was amusing. I loved the options for the
wedding band and the Robert Frost reference.

The art was Archie art but
was fine because somehow changing the art would have really diminished this.
