WOW! If you want an interesting read get this book. It felt like I was reading old school sandman and it still had a vertigo-esque feel about it despite now being part of the bigger picture in the DCU…or should I say New DCU? Brilliant ending and a truly wonderful visual explanation to Buddy’s powers just made me fall in love with a book I just tried on a whim. I urge people to give this a chance even if your not light on your stack of books this week as it really is worth the cover price. If the rest of the series is as interesting as this we may have a surprise hit on our hands…

This might sound stupid… But how the heck can you review books that are not even out yet!? 0_o

Hey can you elaborate a little about the book without giving to much away. You have gotten me curious.

Well without giving loads away it shows interest in the way Buddy views his family and his powers. It introduces a creepy concept in the form of it’s looming villain, the way it describes Buddy’s powers and the artwork lend it a dream like quality that makes it feel like the vertigo books when they first came out. Oh, and the last page? does something really interesting and shocking….

All early indications from everywhere I look and read lean toward this being THE book of the “New 52″. Don’t expect this to remain a secret or surprise too much longer.
