There was no Amazing Spider-Man this week, so I was happy to pick up a copy this side story.  I enjoyed the American Son arc of ASM.  It wasn’t great, but it was serviceable.  And that’s, roughly, what I felt about this #1.  I didn’t get any new story for Harry Osborn, and I didn’t develop any new feelings for him.  This seemed like they wanted to tell a story in ASM, but didn’t know how to make it an ongoing subplot so they shoved it into its own book.  And…it doesn’t warrant its own book.  It’s a moderately interesting subplot.  And the probable villain/anti-hero reveal is from one of the worst Spider-Man storyarcs I can think of.  I don’t know why they keep trying to jam the worst of Spidey’s continuity back into the current storylines.
