This is the best ASM since #600 and one of the best in the past couple of years in my opinion, maybe I'm just a sucker for Black Cat but I really enjoyed this issue.  I thought the art was great, both the cover (which actually happens in the story for once) and the book itself.  I like the direction the book is going in as well, the Madam Webb intro reminds the reader that there are things going on behind the scenes that neither the reader or Spider-man are yet aware of.  I'm intrigued to see where the whole Dexter Bennet thing goes from here, as that was something that was pretty unexpected.  I like that they brought MJ back at a time that things are so messed up in Peter's life, especially with women.  Her walking in on the argument between Pete, Michelle, and Nora was great, but to see Spider-man and Black Cat making out on a jumbo tv was just priceless.  I think this is the first time I've been actually happy that they got rid of Pete and MJ's marriage, but like I said, I've always been a sucker for Black Cat so maybe thats all it is.  I do know that I'm enjoying ASM on a conistant basis for the first time in a while.
