Once again, Amazing Spider-Man gets my Pick of the Week.  Yes, Spider-Man got shot last issue, but we get that explained away pretty quickly.  The first page where we see him in this issue is awesome, as you can get a total sense of the pain and anguish he’s in without even seeing his face.  That requires some great art.  Also, in this book we get to see Norman Osborn as we like to see him- at his absolute, in-control, douche-bag best.  He’s got every angle seemingly covered, every contingency planned out.  The only variable he can’t handle is how much Spider-Man/Peter Parker hates him.  After this issue, Peter won’t be the only one with such powerful hatred towards Norman.  We also find out that Peter and Harry have another detail in their lives to share, assuming BND didn’t erase a certain highly controversial plot line from the JMS run.  And speaking of that little plot line, did anyone else notice the label on one of the containment tanks?  What could that mean?  Hmmm… In the end, I can’t wait to see how this story ends next issue.  Thanks Joe Kelly et al. for another great issue; keep up the great work!

Story: 5 - Excellent
