I love Jonah Hex. He’s a two dimensional character in the best way. He fights, shoots, drinks and sexes up all the prostitutes.
A lot of the joy of Jonah Hex therefore comes from putting this unchanging force of cowboy nature into interesting environments and situations. And that’s were the new 52 All Star Western has fallen down so far.
This new pairing of Jonah and Booster Gold is a revelation however and is a welcome change from the ever annoying Arkham-Jonah relationship.
These last two issues have brought me back from having dropped this tittle to having it near the top of my “to read pile”.
But the back-up story continues to stink. Who ever thought we needed more Stormwatch books in this world?
