The best issue of All Star Western since issues 1-3.

Rollicking…rowdy…and damn fun. Looks like a Battle Royal is brewing between the Owls and the Crime Bible. It feels like editorial let Gray & Palmiotti off the leash finally.

If you needed a reason to jump back to ASW, this is it.

The back up story with Dr. Thirteen is certainly a riff on Burton’s Sleepy Hollow, but it is executed brilliantly.

On the Art side…Moritat seems to have shaken off some cobwebs or something, because every panel “clicked” with dynamism AND clarity. (even the lettering was better).

And man, I loves me some Tallulah Black…

Story: 4 - Very Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
