I have never read Jonah Hex but I might go back and read the past run because of this number 1. This was amazing! A super fun comic. Having Dr. Arkham narrate the story gave me, as a new reader, great insight into Jonah Hex as a character and having it set in Ye Olde Gotham was a wonderful touch. Gotham has kind of become its own character in this new 52. The art was so so so good especially the colors, it was kind of light colors all around giving it a sense of older times. I am definitely looking forward to the next issue.
