Palmiotti and Gray have been churning out consistently great Jonah Hex stories for awhile now and this is no different with All-Star Western #1. Although less of a Western than you would think, it’s a gripping mystery and the Hex/Arkham team-up is interesting in its own right as we get a psychological insight into the enigmatic bounty hunter. It definitely left me wanting more, although to be honest I miss the standalone Hex stories. We can’t always win though.
