Man, I used to hate Chris Bachalo.  His artwork during Morrison's X-Men run made me want to punch mutant babies.  Pregnant mutant babies.  And, having been finally drawn-out of my post- "One More Day" cynicism by the "New Ways To Die" arc, I was terrified that Bachalo's art was going to make me back quickly away from Spider-Man again.  Wow, was I wrong.

Bachalo's art is perfect for this story. I love the way he draws Negative Man and Hammerhead.  Not to mention Spidey, and Greta (if you haven't read it yet, don't ask).

The story?  It's good. I really do wish they'd stop dragging Aunt May and FEAST into everything Spiderman does.  In the year that it's been part of continuity, that homeless shelter has seen more super-hero/villain battles than the X-Mansion did in fifty years.  But it's not so distracting that I don't want to pick up the title again next week.  At least until the next jarring reboot.
