Yet again, it feels like DC has put the Bat Books out of order. I'm not just talking about continuity-wise, though that appears to be the case. But I feel like there's an emotional bridge in this issue that links the ending of Battle For The Cowl to Batman And Robin. It's a bit sappy, yes, but I thought it was about the right level of sappy. In this issue, Bruce just died, and the whole family has to deal with it, and move on. And Winnick doesn't let the grief overcome the whole issue.
