With this issue, Bendis makes it very clear that the story is not in the problem, the story is in the solution to the problem. Here the heroes have to decide whether to head into the future and confront Ultron or to the past and keep him from being created in the first place - possibly by killing Hank Pym before he creates it - with whatever ramifications that creates. And I think Bendis is showing that he's got an interesting idea germinating in the story. My hope is that Marvel will let him execute it. Also, we get to see Nick Fury Sr. (not the new Sam Jackson look-alike) show how he's prepared for every contingency. The panel of him opening the door on his armory locker is like a What's What of the Marvel Universe (he's even got an original style Magneto helmet). If you've dropped off this book, you might want to jump back on or look forward to the trade, because Bendis is definitely going somewhere, or somewhen, and we should be excited to see where (or when) it is.
