I did not give this a perfect rating because of nestalgia. This is what I’d imagine a movie based off of Action Comics would begin. Of course there is the cliche of cops hating vigilantes and I find it funny that if a guy can’t be stopped by bullets then they decide to bring a tank out of nowhere to shoot Kal-El. Seriously where did that tank come from? There are a few scenarios where things come out of nowhere. Other than huge objects pulling Hudini’s this is a perfect number one. Rags Morales has become one of my favorite pencilers and the coloring is fantastic. I only ordered Action Comics and not Superman and I was worried I’d made a wrong decision. Even though Supes hasn’t come out yet I feel pretty assured. I’m gonna enjoy were this leads in the future.
