Daredevil #108

This is shaping up to be a good story.

Quick Synopsis (Includes some info from DD 107)
Big Ben Donovan is on death row for murdering, and decapitating 3 children. He completely confessed to the crime and apparently has made peace with the fact that he is going to die for it. Problem is. He didn't do it. On top of that, forces on the outside don't want anyone investigating further. Dakota North got roughed up, by a federal agent no less, just for asking around.  Dakota has asked Matt to help, and he actually pulls himself out of self pity island to see what he can do.

Writing
This is a brutal Daredevil. He isn't killing anyone, but he is definitely laying the smack down on people to get what he wants. I like it. :) The story has my interest piqued and is a good mystery up to this point. Brubaker is not disappointing. Big surprise.

Art
I am absolutely loving the art on this book. It's dark enough to convey the shadowy Daredevil world, but it does not suffer from of the muddiness that some "dark brooding" books fall into.
