i don't enjoy full-on hating on books...but this oracle miniseries started out okay but quickly went bad.
the cyberspace chess match between oracle and calculator was handled quite clumsily - the fun of an exploding head (from the anti-life equation!) in issue one quickly devolved into obtuse virtual conflicts. calculator's trying to save his injured daughter felt cliched and disingenuous. i don't know if calculator's daughter has shown up before, but it'll take a bit more work to make me care about her. the art was generally middling; the vaguely pornographic cover of this final issue didn't help.
the final page, which promotes a new batgirl series, has little hope if it follows the threads started here.
