Jonah Hex #39

Written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti
Art and cover by Rafa Garres

Size: 32 Pages

Price: $2.99

This continues to be one of my favorite titles and must read every time it comes out. This issue had an exciting story and I enjoyed it, except the art by Rafa Garres. His style is a weathered, cartoon-e, everyone jammed closed together, type of style.... I find myself trying to figure out what I'm looking at too many times through this issue. Way too much of the same colors , also. Very distracting and takes away from my enjoyment of the issue. Hopefully DC Comics with stop giving this artist work or encourage him to make changes. On a positive note, 39 issues in and Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti are telling some awesome stories!!!!!

I loved the cover, but I agree about the interior. I gave it a 2 rating overall, mainly because I couldn't tell what the hell was going on. They should have him do covers only, I feel.
