Just listened to the podcast and I had no idea that John Severin had
been doing comics for so long but it totally makes sense when I take a
second look at the art, which was great by the way. The only thing I am a
little iffy on is that my mental picture of Abe Sapien gives him less man-like facial features than he was given here, but I
haven't really read that much with him so I am speaking
from limited experience. Also I don't think the thought bubbles were
needed at the end, the art did a great job with that last scene especially.
Even if it was pretty obvious what was picking the guys off I think the story still did a pretty good job of manufacturing some suspense, but that getting across was still quite dependent on art which, if you haven't figured it out yet, I really loved.
Story: 3 - Good
Art: 5 - Excellent
