Dark Reign List Punisher One Shot

While I agree that all The List books have been $1 extra for zero extra content, this one was clearly more than a marketing tool. SPOILER- Frank Castle, the Punisher, was cut up into pieces and kicked off a roof piece by piece. That is a major happening no matter how you slice it (sorry).  The issue was nothing but a long drawn out fight, but how exactly did you expect them to take out the Punisher. And if you are going to do a long fight, JRJR seems the way to go. I could really follow every beat of the whole exchange, when Frank pulled out what weapon and when and how Daken would feel the kick from bullets. Really quite amazing. I think the build up is the past 12 issues which have been more or less Punisher vs. Osborn and his minions. I also felt some emotional pang at the notion that Frank's dying thought is that it would be nice if he could believe he would soon be joining his wife, but he knows that is a lie.
