If there were ever a course on how to write an ensemble cast in a book this should be at the heart of its curriculum. This is how I imagine an Aaron Sorkin comic would read. Every one of these characters is fascinating and flawed and not since Watchmen have I been introduced to this many characters that I care about all at once.

JMS is really putting his all into this book and the love he has for the time period these folks come from is all over the dialogue. The art by Chris Weston is astoundingly well detailed and rich. This is an artist I will be following for years to come.

This issue alone is a great example of various plotlines falling into place and I couldn’t be happier with how things are coming together. Bravo gentlemen.

Agreed. This may be one of the few books I buy in issues AND in trade.

I'm shocked that you metion the Watchmen in your review dude, because I was thinking the same damn thing when I was reading it. This book is fantastic, you really hit the nail on the head.

This book has been so great...I love how well balanced the cast is.  And wow, what a sexy cover.  Can't wait to see how this ends, I know JMS has a rep for poor endings, but I think time will be different.
