What struck me as I read issue 2 of "Trinity" (and mind you that I don't read nearly as much DC as I do Marvel) was this:  "Wow, I can't remember the last time I've seen Wonder Woman be a badass."  And then she went for "A Personal Best in Giant Robot Smashing", and the humor, action and relationships between the three members of the titular Trinity came together into another issue convincing me this is the DC weekly I can get into.  Also, Mark Bagley could draw stereo instructions and I'd buy it.

Also it's good to see that the back-ups have a reason to exist, and aren't completely random.  The fight featuring the most famous Green Lantern in the world felt like it related to the first half of the book.

Seriously, though, I'll mention this about Bagley's art... perhaps his humans look too... human to make him a great Superman artist?  Is his style to "Marvel" for DC?  This is possible.  I will still eat it up with a spoon.
