Planetary #27

One of my favourite series of all time, wrapped up. That's all she said. All she wrote. Or so I thought. Even though it'd been rumoured for some time, and an absolute need for "#27" wasn't running around my head - I was really looking forward to seeing these characters one last time. But equally, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit worried that this last issue was going to be a let down. Boy was I wrong. I was completely blown away! The images of all the different versions of themselves looking upon what was unfolding - amazing! That's a lasting moment. That's a lasting image. That's how a series makes an unforgettable conclusion. We often forget how hard it is to end a story and how it's so seldom executed with proper impact and grace deserving of an entire series. Kudos to this stellar creative team, and thank you. Can't wait to re-read the whole thing.
