  1. Can’t wait. Francavilla is one of my favorites!

  2. Is the Gordon back-up being collected in a trade or hardcover?

  3. @davidtobin100  I would count on it

  4. @wordballoon: Thanks John. Just finished lisstening to the show. Great interview.

  5. @wordballoon: It appears, according to Amazon, that the Batman: the Black Mirror hardcover will collect the first two Jock penciled stories, “Black Mirror” and “Hungry City”.  One assumes that Francesco will have another Detective arc following the “Hungry City” arc. If he does, there is a chance that the next Dectective tade will collect both of Francesco’s arcs together.

Lending credence to this theory, the August solicitation for Detective is listed at 40pgs and has art by Jock and Francesco.  I suspect we will get a 8-page preview / lead-in to Francesco’s next arc in that issue.  (This assumes the entire DC Universe isn’t rebooted at the end of August.)

  6. Oh wow!  I’m totally looking forward to listening to this.  He’s definitely one of the great artists out there right now.

  7. @ctrosejr  if you listen to the interview, Francesco said that the James Gordon Jr story isn’t finished and will continue later this summer.

Despite the DC reboot rumours, I think the powers that be at DC know they’ve got a minor classic going with this Gordon story, and I am reasonbly certain it will continue with the 40 pager in august.
