WoW
I never thought that Ron would be the voice of reason in pronounciation.
But- He is right.
Kah-Man-Dee
In most dialects of English, ‘a’ is normally pronounced either /æ/ or /ɛɪ/, as in “man” and “mane”. There are relatively few words where it is pronounced /a/ (as in “ah”), and they tend to vary quite a lot with dialect (eg “pass” and “graph” have that vowel in SE England, but not in most of the English speaking world.)
Infamous is good old Bendis- but if this IS Reed actually- then that’s not ok and if it’s Ultimate Reed or another dimension Reed- Get to it.
I do feel like if you three talk about Judge Dredd: Funko Universe next week and it’s NOT the Patron Pick, which I’ll be arguing it shouldn’t be, I’ll have officially incepted everyone.
Conor, I am right there with you on the Justice Society of America 1992 trade. It has been on my mental wish list for quite a while, and then they teased us with a solicitation and I put it on my actual Amazon wish list. I was heartbroken when I saw it became “unavailable”. Now, every time I buy something from Amazon I have to be reminded that I won’t be getting it any time soon.
Hell, I pre-ordered it. The email I got informing me that my order had been canceled was like a dagger to the heart.
Just so you know, Amazon has this listed as coming out December 31, 2035. I guess I will finally get to read it in 17 1/2 years!
I didn’t read the book, so I’m not saying whether or not I think it was good, but Strawberry Shortcake is still a thing for young girls. Toys and clothes at Target stores and the like, new episodes on Netflix, pre-k age level video games. It’s still a thing. They had a book out a year or two ago for Free Comic Book Day, too, and that was a hit with my daughter. Great episode. Thanks.
I totally replayed Ron saying “Wonder Woman” at least three times.
