Just curious … why would Josh read this book if he doesn’t like the X-Men?
Uh … I’m just bitter, because he didn’t pick Batman as Pick Of The Week. It was the best comic I read on months. I don’t read any X-Men books (because I’m not into them, same as Josh) so I can’t say how good this issue was, but if this was P.O.W. in the same week Final Crisis & an awesome issue of Batman came out — it must be awesome.
Sometimes I try books I’m not necessarily interested in, just to see if I’m missing something. Also, I feel like I have a bit of a responsibility to the audience to know some of what’s going on out there besides just the things I’m interested in.
Sometimes it works out in my favor.
For me Claremont and Morrison was the best X-men in decades. Astonishing X-men was decompressed all to hell, nice art though.
