This week's Don't Miss hops into the Way-Back Machine and takes us on a trip to 1999 as VERTIGO resurrects Finals. Originally a four issue mini-series written by Will Pfeifer with art by Jill Thompson. Finals is back in print and being collected for the first time. Listen in as Will Pfeifer reminisces about writing this satirical look at college life in the pre-9/11 world. Wally Maurer and his fellow seniors at Knox University must complete their final project to graduate, but the only catch is that they may not live through the experience. Finals is a dark and hilarious commentary on higher education… and maybe time travel.

I’ve been loving all the Veritgo Resurrected books lately. This sounds like an interesting premise plus it should have great art to it too. Great interview!
I miss Pfeifer. I’ll always remember him for his awesome Sub-Diego arc in Aquaman.
