  2. Man, Spectacular Spiderman #189 was awesome. JM DeMatteis was on fire back then.

  3. I remember buying comics in 1987 that did not survive my childhood onslaught, can’t remember what they were except two at the moment Spidey was in black the symbiote suit I think and Hulk and Thor fought in an issue of Thor, I remember that one like I bought it this morning.
    As time went on I really started to care for my books, the oldest now being Green Lantern and Firestorm during the Millennium crossover, Batman: 10 Nights of The Beast and Superman vs. Vril Dox, in an issue of Adventures of. Starman by Roger Stern, etc. some didn’t stand the test of time and moving around and lending didn’t help either.
