  1. Gentlemen, great show as always. But there’s a mistake in the show notes, the description for the voicemail from Marco was from last week’s show.

  2. Was listening to Primitive Girl as I clicked play on this lol

  3. I’m glad Josh mentioned that Manhattan Projects has nothing to do with history. It’s kind of just like if G.I. Joe characters were given the name of historical figures.

It’s also a fun game to play. For example, young Barnes Wallis joins the Manhattan Project because his bouncing dumbusting automaton. But Barnes is dead and one of the robots has taken his place

  4. I’m excited for the extra scene they apparently filmed just hours after the red carpet premiere. Just what are they planning?>

  5. I’ve released the Nite Owl “spoiler” on twitter just to freak out my friends. I’ll attribute it after I get a few confused/shocked reactions. If you can’t mess with your friends on a Monday morning, when can you? 🙂

  6. I am SO EXCITED for Avengers. No midnight showing in Glasgow (as far as I’m aware) so we’re headed to a 10.15am showing on Thursday. Nerdsssss!

    • Cineworld? I’ll be at the 10.30 2D showing, ’cause I’m a traditionalist. Good luck with those D-Box seats though. 😛

    • iFanboy has a Glasgow posse? Who knew? I’ll be at the 1:30 showing due to pesky work getting in the way. My first 3D film, and I’m giving the D-Box a go. Should be an experience.

    • I didn’t see there were 2D showings before! Thanks for pointing it out, I’ll be going to that one now…! I’ll be the one geeking out with excitement (yes, the only one, I’m sure.)

    • Yeah, they hid those 2D showings well. Would not have seen them if I hadn’t been looking.

    • I would actually say skip the 3D on this… a lot of the scenes are darker/night scenes and were not very clear with the 3D glasses. I don’t know if it was a particular problem with the projection at my showing, but I’ve had this problem before in other action films too…

  7. Thanks for the X-Men Season One rec. I just picked it up and have been enjoying it quite a bit. I do find it a rather humorous BOTM pick given Ron’s comment about his taste in comics changing. I guess some habits die hard! 🙂

  8. 30 year old Ron? How old are you? Like 60?

  9. Why did my comment about THE AVENGERS get erased? Not even a partial redacting of it?

You’re talking about being excited for it. I say that I enjoyed it and it delivered for the most part, giving a pretty generic reaction to it to say “yes, it is exciting”. It wasn’t a blow-by-blow account “spoiling everything” remark…

    • I read it before it got deleted and you spoiled the post-credits scene for me, man.

    • Ahh… I’m sorry about that man. I was trying to be coy with the phrasing and not specifically stating what it was, but it’s hard to do that with a comics saavy audience.

      Now I feel like a jerk…

    • It’s cool. I actually did something similar when the Kick-Ass movie was coming out. Sometimes you just can’t help yourself. And I had already heard rumours about that scene anyway.

    • Still though, discretion in future. 🙂

  10. If you haven’t yet, you should check out the “Feynman” graphic novel from Jim Ottaviani and Leland Myrick. His real life story is incredible.

  11. How do I access the earliest episodes of the POTW podcasts? The archive only goes back so far. (I listened to them as they came out, and I wanted to revisit them… there were some classic moments).
