Looking forward to Blackest Night, Amazing Spider-Man, Tales of the Corps, and Lockjaw. I've got a lot of books that I'm going to give one more try before I drop them this week: Action Comics, Wednesday Comics, Streets of Gotham, and Titans.
BQ: Dementor, simply because Harry Potter bores me and it'd be nice to get some shut-eye.

Small to average week here for me with 10 books and a couple trades that I may simply wait to get from Amazon at a later date.
Most looking forward to the Blackest Night books by far. If I recall I only have 3 Marvel books this week, so it's going to be a DC heavy week, which is ok with me :) My only dilemma will be getting to the store early enough to snag a copy of Blackest Night! I can only imagine how fast it'll be flying off the racks! Just hoping my LCS orders up a poop ton of copies.
BQ: Dementor, because theoretically they won't bother us unless we're wanted by the Magic Police or whatever it's called in the HP world (If I remember correctly...). Rabies means an unpleasant amount of shots to the stomach, so I'd want to avoid that, and BOB...well, ugh, no. Just no.

Dementor, because i'm assuming that if I can be locked in a room with one I am probably a witch and can therefore conjure a patronus.

Blackest Night for sure, Captain America, and I've got to read the latest Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers. It's one of the few Marvel books not tying in to Dark Reign. But who knows, maybe Norman Osborn has a goldfish that will show up.

What's this "Blackist Night" everyone is talking about? I'm far more excited about Lockjaw & the Pet Avengers!!
But yeah, Blackest Night should be fun. Not sure about the Tales tie-in. And I also decided I'm not going to get the Dark Avengers books. Screw the crossover. My LCS is cool with reading in the store, I might just do that.
BQ: I'm far more likely to survive an attack from a Dementor than I am from a raccoon, go figure. I'll go with the flying guy.

If you get Tales of the Corps with Blackest Night at my lcs, they throw in a black lantern ring. I was probably gonna get both anyway, but the promise of evil bling seals it.

Biggest week ever for me: Air, Buck Rogers, DMA, DADOES, Fables (no more crossover!!!!!!!), Incognito, GI Joe Origins, Killer, Olympus, RASL, Resurrection v. 2, Scalped, Sherlock Holmes, Unthinkable (if LCS gets it), Walking Dead, Wednesday Comics... and the Madame Xanadu trade from DCBS at month's end.

5 books this week. Things in my stack will go from Dark to Blackest as DC conitues to overtake my pulls.
As a Muggle I couldn't see a Dementor, I'd just be sad. I'd be in a room and I'd be sad, sounds like work.

Looking forward to Agents of Atlas, the Avengers books, and who's-making-out-this-week? in X-Factor. Whether I pick up Wednesday Comics depends on my mood, and Streets of Gotham might be on the chopping block if this issue doesn't wow me.
BQ: Dementor. The raccoon and Bob would both kill me violently. The Dementor would steal my soul, but once they did it, I wouldn't care. Better eternal soul-voidness than a raccoon ripping your face open, right?

This week is gonna hurt! Not only are a ton of books shipping, but that DAMN CAPTAIN BRITAIN OMNIBUS is gonna have to go home with me. Also the Annihilation Trade with the original number ones of the Marvel Cosmic crew looks good too! Damn. The wife is gonna kill me!

BQ: I'd take that thing from Twin Peaks. Because it's so confusing and ends on a cliffhanger it wouldnt bother me.

Can't wait for Blackest Night! Last weeks Black Hand origin was my POW. Also, ASM conclusion of American Son, Tales of the Corps, Dark Avengers, Streets of Gotham, and Mighty Avengers (last couple of issues impressed!)

Yes!! Streets Of Gotham #2 is probably going to be the most fun book of the week. I'm so excited, I just can't hide it.
Incognito is still going strong.
...and I am pulling Wednesday Comics, Action Comics, and Dark Avengers even though not one of them is worth $3.99
I want a copy of Astro City: Dark Ages book one but I think I'm gonna order it from somewhere instead of buying it at the comic shop.

If I can get to the shop (still recovering from the great car purchase of 2009), it's all Blackest Night. Other stuff - Amazing Spider-Man, Action, Dark Avengers, Rasl, Creepy (because as a horror fan, I have to), Walking Dead, Scalped. I'm also going to give Last Resort from IDW a shot - it's got Palmiotti and Gray writing, it's about 70s exploitation and zombies, and I stand the chance of getting either a Connor or Cooke cover.
BQ: I'm going to have to go with the raccoon because I don't know what either of those other two are (although I do have vague BOB memories). I know, bad geek.

Pretty big week for me. 13 books, which is more than i have been getting. Really looking forward to Amazing Spider-Man and Sherlock Holmes. plus Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep? should be good. I'm dreading Dark Avengers.

I'm going to wait for the hardcover on BLACKEST NIGHT. They scared me off with all those damn tie-ins.

I didnt pick up my comics last week and Wednesday Comics isnt on my pull list but Im going to pick up this weeks(and hopefully last weeks issue too).
Streets of Gotham #2 should be awesome, it seems to be under the radar compared to Batman & Robin and Detective but the last issue was fun
Incognito has become probably my favorite ongoing comic so Im eagerly awaiting the next issue
And I heard a couple people talking about this thing called Blackest Night? I have a feeling this thing might be big but thats just me

Small week for me with only Spider-Man and Captain America, so I might pick up either Creepy Comics or Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep. This is nice, having small weeks, my wallet is thanking me.

Last week's quiet delivery was obviously a blip - back to bigness this week. Looking forward to Fables getting back to normal, Scalped as always and the pen ultimate issue of Archaia's The Killer. Dark Avengers gets the axe after Fraction's run. Getting Blackest Night but am determined to avoid the extra tie-ins. Great week!

Hell yeah, Blackest Night is here! Definitely picking those two books up this week, and hopefully I'll get the Black Lantern ring as well. Also, I'm totally going to buy into the iFanboy hype and pick up Wednesday Comics from here on out.
B.Q.- BOB, even though he's super evil, he's still a David Lynch creation, and that makes him awesome. I just wish in that same room would be Frank Booth and the baby from Eraserhead.

BTW, nice Foo Fighters reference in the title. Always thought that song worked well as a theme for powerless/tech-based superheroes (Batman, Iron Man, etc).

Monster week for me, with 23 books. I won't go through them all, but I'm most excited for BLACKEST NIGHT, JSA VS. KOBRA, WEDNESDAY COMICS, FRANKLIN RICHARDS, and THE INCREDIBLES.
I'm glad to see that you're continuing to read JSA VS. KOBRA, Conor. If you haven't started reading it, I highly recommend you do.There's so much great talent on that book who have such a passion for the characters that I have full confidence this will be one of the best minis of the year when all is said and done. I urge you to check it out if you're a fan of good comics.
Also, great to see two all-ages books this week in THE INCREDIBLES and FRANKLIN RICHARDS. The former has been one of the best new books of the year, and the latter always impresses with it's awesomeness. I urge you to check these out, especially if you have or know any children.
BQ: Rabid Raccooon for sure. I don't wanna mess with a Dementor or god forbid BOB.
