  1. Shame more people aren’t pulling Wonder Woman, it really is a very good read.

  2. I agree it has been good, but it has not been great (unlike Secret Six, Gail’s other full time gig). I think she has been messing around way too much with all the Olympian Gods and saving of the Amazonian people, which really is not Simone’s strength. Get Wonder Woman down in the gutters (or at least on the street) and I think  we can get back to Gail’s wheelhouse.

  3. @isxios  I’m in complete agreement with you on this one.  Wonder woman is not getting the love here lately and its been pretty good.  I’m onboard as long as Gail Simone is writing.

  4. I’m off it till N.Scott & D.Hazelwoodget on the next arc.  The crows are more of the same, it’s like dragging out the last arc to me and the last arc was not good enough to drag out.

  5. @ Reform  While I love Nicola Scott, I think it’s a shame to miss out on Lopresti’s art.  I’ve never been a big fan of his, but he’s definitely come into his own on WW.  I love his borders and detailing.  Yes, I even love the granny-panties!!

  6. My favorite issue of Gail’s run so far. I’m so blad to have WW back in the "real world," away from all the Olympian gods and Amazonian business– which has never interested me for whatever reason.

I LOVE Nicola Scott’s art, but have actually been greatly impressed by Lopresti’s art on this book– it has kept me coming back a lot of months when I wasn’t really feeling the storyline.

  7. I agree. Best issue in quite a while. And it just makes sense, Wonder Woman works best when myth comes down to the real world and she is our last line of defense. Gods vs. Gods vs. Amazons is just too far out there to be properly grounded.
