I really hope this book bounces back from the abysmal Spider-Island tie-ins.

    • SleepingMan SleepingMan says:

Actually I really liked the tie-ins. While I was confused about the Spider-Island portions of it, the subplot dealing with his father were well worth it.

    • party party says:

This book had the best tie-ins of Spider Island! I have yet to dislike a single issue for this series.

    • wiski wiski says:

      I liked the tie-ins.

I wasn’t reading Amazing so for me it just dragged this book down. The first issue of the crossover was God-awful to me, especially since I felt the book was just starting to find it’s footing. It felt like an unnecessary diversion.

    • Kamilo Kamilo says:

Stories aren’t clean and nice in real life, so why should they be that way for comics? If an emergency happens, of course a supe will drop things to help out. Just makes sense.
Though I will admit that I hate it when cliffhangers straddle books like in Venom 8. They can frolic in each others gardens all they want, but editors should keep things at least mostly insular from book to book.

    • Funcrusher Funcrusher says:

Probably the best example of a tie-in not ruining a book I can think of.

    SICK COVER!!!

also ya bro you’re crazy. This book had the best spider island tie ins.

  3. stasisbal stasisbal says:

I’m not reading the series but that’s a nice cover.

  4. farceur318 says:

I know this book won’t fill the hole left in my heart now that Remender’s Fear Agent is over, but Flash’s alcoholism and daddy issues will at least numb the pain.

  5. CronyC CronyC says:

How can I say no to that cover?

  6. player1 player1 says:

I love this title. One of my favorites, and it only benefitted from the SI tie-ins, as far as I’m concerned.

  7. TheRealVenom TheRealVenom says:

this issue left me all warm and fuzzy. The REAL Venom is coming back baby!

  8. Falconexx Falconexx says:

Warm and fuzzy?? I think I need to change my pants because this issue was so good! Wasn’t happy with Spider Island as a whole but this was a decent tie-in. Looks like Brock might be getting jealous here soon…
