Can’t afford all these Spider-titles.
Last issue for me.
How has this little crossover event been so far? What about the Venom series before the crossover started? Is it worth jumping on now?
This is the last issue of the crossover so maybe next issue would be a better jumping on point. I haven’t been a fan of the crossover so far. Scarlett Spider was pretty good until the this event. Didn’t read Venom before the crossover so I’m not sure how good it was.
There’s actually one more issue for this crossover but it’s a one shot. However this would be the last issue of Venom . I started reading Venom at issue 16 and have really enjoyed it so far and hope it can keep it up. I burned out on Peter Parker awhile ago and this is a good substitute for me. I really like Flash Thompson as Venom. Ive only read the crossover issues of Scarlet Spider do I dont know how it was before the crossover but I’m going to stick with it for a few issues and see how it goes. There aren’t too many Marvel books that are once a month 2.99 titles so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
I’ve never seen a series go from such quality to shit so quickly. If your interested in this book; buy the first few trades and ignore the rest
Yeah, I just meant it’s the last issue of the crossover in Venom. The next issue is I believe a .1 issue, #27.1, those are usually meant to be good jumping on points too. If you started reading with this current issue you would probably be confused as to what is going on. #27.1 would be perfect, I think anyway. 😉
I agree about the $2.99 books. I like to give them a chance. After I drop Scarlett Spider and Venom I will be down to just Hawkeye and Daredevil that I get from Marvel. Both outstanding $2.99 books, IMO. I will be getting all the X-books in trade paperback form though. Just can’t afford the $3.99 double shipping.
Oops, I forgot, I am getting Amazing Spider-Man also, but just until issue #700 then I am dropping it. I have to see what is going to happen.

Here’s hoping the philly stuff will be better. Bunns got one more shot at this.
It used to be my fav book every month, now I’m dropping it as soon as this cross over is done
Thanks for the comments on the series, I might give it a shot and see how it goes. The whole 2.99 thing is a draw too since it’s rare to see from Marvel
