  1. Has there been any indication of how long this is initial arc is going to be?

  2. Cannot wait for this, Wednesday cannot come soon enough.

  3. Bring it on.

  4. Jason Aaron is killing on this book. He was meant to write Thor. I mean he looks like a damn Norse God. I really hope this is a biography and he just replaced himself as Thor. I can’t wait till he brings in Loki aka Rick Remender.

  5. BRING ME MY ARM!

  6. Did you say ale? lol…Aaron is kicking ass for real. This and all new xmen are Marvel’s best titles.

  7. Very tempted to get involved in this title, my friend cannot stop pestering me to pick it up. I’ve seen nothing but great reviews, so may well get with it.

    • You should pick it up if you can. It is really one of Marvel’s best books right now.

    • Get with it bruh! Seriously, an awesome comic. I would be very surprised if anyone is disappointed with this title. Not sure how many #1’s are still out there, but I think it will get a 2nd print if it hasn’t already.

  8. Hoping to read this in trade.

Glad to hear they are doing a great job.

  9. OLD KING THOR gets a whole issue? Yespleaseiwantthis.

  10. Does anyone know how long they are going to be doing the triple timeline?

    • If I recall correctly, Aaron plans on sticking with that format for as long as he’s on the book. It won’t always be simultaneous like this; we may spend three whole issues with Young Thor, followed by three whole issues with Old Thor, depending on where his creative juices flow. But from what I understand, he’s really committed to the format.

  11. It’s been a long, LONG time since I’ve been excited about a Thor comic. Now, it’s one of the titles I look forward to the most. I can’t wait to find out what happens next! 🙂

  12. Holy crap this issue was fantastic, I dont think there is another book coming out right now that I look forward to as much as this. Except maybe Winter soldier but Brubaker is almost gone…..

  13. Unreal, I cannot believe how good this book is and the fact it just gets better and better. Perfect art, colours and storytelling.

  14. Wow.
I honestly didn’t think this book could possibly get even better. But here we are.

  15. My god.

    Also my POTW.

  16. POTW… This and All New X-Men… Keep Them Coming MARVEL NOW!

  17. High-freaking-quality. A bit surprised that this (and Swamp Thing and Animal Man) are flying under a Teen banner with some of the gruesomeness, but i could not imagine this book being better. Hope Jason Aaron has a long healthy run!

  18. OK OK all of you have convinced me, Im picking up issues 1-4 ASAP, even though I have never read Thor. It is Jason Aaron though…

  19. Awesome…. verily awesome

  20. Only four issues, but so far it looks set to be one of the best runs on Thor for a long time. Will have to be something really special to rival Simonson’s run though, that was one of the all time greats.

  21. Jason Aaron, don’t you know I don’t like Thor stories? They’re supposed to be boring and have awkward dialog. First Hawkeye became interesting and now Thor is turning into one of my favorite books. Two of my least favorite characters in the Marvel Universe are my favorite titles. Luckily Greg Land is still doing art on Iron Man or I would be pulling books with all 3 of my least favorite characters.

  22. This book is so good its just getting stupid. Why can’t everything read like this? I love other art and the writing makes me want to read it out loud…doing voices

  23. just outstanding. of all the Marvel Now books i’ve sampled, this and All-New X-Men are the only ones still holding my attention. BUT, man are they sublime. fuckin’ smooth.
POTW (sorry, Stars Wars, i really wanted to give it to you, but…)

  24. Since there are two thors in one time at the end is there a strong possibility one of them will grab both hammers and go HAM on the god butcher? That would be epic on every scale.

  25. This book kills issue after issue. The art is off the chart and the story is great. I hope they can keep it up.
