     Agree with you. I don’t know if I’ve ever commented out loud while reading a comic before and last issue made me say: “You are gonna f*cking get it, buddy.” Re: Negan.

   Prediction:

   While Rick continues to figure out his “plan”, Carl just up and kills Negan. This leaves everyone thinking Rick is soft (“SURE you had a plan, Rick”) and Carl gets it into his head that he is in line to lead.

   I imagine one day we will be reading walking dead issue 217, rick is long dead, Carl is a man now, Bandage replaced with an eyepatch and a stoic wise look in his reaming eye. A worn and tattered cowboy hat riddled with bullet holes. He’s standing with a pregnant Sophia and Glenn Jr. at his side. Next to the graves of Andrea, his father, Maggie, and all the other friends lost along the way. He overlooks the hilltop, at new construction, civilization rebuilding itself.

   “We did it dad.”

     I had thought that maybe rick was going to get it in 100, and then follow Carl rest of the way. I also think Carl with eventually be the main character at somepoint, but you put it more elequently that I could have.

     It would be a very boring story if it was gonna be that easy to kill Negan. Negan has more leverage against Rick now than ever before.
