    Certainly not as subtle as some of the other covers.

    So pumped for this! I’ve been wanting to learn more about Fermi since the beginning.

      Same here…I was behind about three issues and decided to do a marathon reading from the beginning to get caught up. I definitely see the benefit of the “waiting for trades” lifestyle. What a fantastic story so far!

    The Hickman Image covers have been amazing for all his series but these covers are the best of them all.

    If this issue is anything like the last with the origin on Harry Daghlian then this could easily top as POTW. It’s almost unfair to have this come out when you have Superman Unchained and Batman coming out in the same week.

    This book never lets me down. Great issue. The last page was an image second only to Oppenheimer punching a horse in the face.

    Holy Crap! What a great issue! The rhythm of the story was perfect, everyone seems to be right in sync with each other. And that last page…gotta be one of the panels of the year.

    Well that was unexpected! Considering what we got last week I didn’t see such a swerve coming and so quickly too! Glad to see we’re gonna get more out of this big, bad alien dude in the future. Solid issue all around by Hickman and Pitarra.

      Hah! I was trying to articulate a more thorough explanation, but after some thought, I think you nailed it. The story is fascinating, the art is gorgeous, I love it too!
