TAKIO GN HC

Takio is the first all ages graphic novel series from Marvel’s Icon imprint and the first new creator owned book by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming since their award-winning, long-running Powers.

Takio tells the story of two sisters in a multiracial, adoptive family who are driving each other insane!!! Their overprotective mother makes them walk to school together, eat lunch together, and play together. They can’t get away from each other!! But when a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime accident gives them real-life superpowers, these two sisters become the first actual superheroes in the entire world. And it is awesome!!

Now the sisters have to learn to get along so they can save the world and get home by six… or they are so grounded.

This fast-talking, whip smart new graphic novel series will thrill fans of Bendis’ Ultimate Spider-man!

Just who do you think you are, Mister?!

  7. Sammy says:

Can anyone let me know if they have read it. Bargain price, great creators but somethings holding me back from snapping it up. Would be good to get the community’s thoughts

  8. rottenjorge rottenjorge says:

@Sammy  that is a good question because my shop doesnt know anything about it

  9. MegaPhilip MegaPhilip says:

@rottenjorge  That sucks. My show doesn’t usually take risks and order books they aren’t absolutely sure will sell and only got one copy of this! Thankfully, I called ahead and had them hold it for me. Hopefully this will make them order more, it’s kinda awkward to tell people to buy a book in my shop that the owners don’t think to order enough of.

  10. Sammy says:

@ my store is pretty good for a small shop. They didn’t know anything about return of dapper men when that was released but ordered 8 copies if this in. Guess it’s the power of bendis

  11. s1lentslayer s1lentslayer says:

My LCS didn’t have it so I just ordered it on Amazon.

  12. rottenjorge rottenjorge says:

  16. was able to get a copy. Looks pretty nice so far, however the production on this book is sloppy. The back cover of the book is almost a full eigth of an inch longer than the front. I’ve never seen that before in all my years of buying books. didn’t notice until i got it home and out of the polybag.

i am very excited to read this though.
