I was impressed by the first one. Fun and interesting. And who can’t get into the art team of Cafu and Bit?

  2. PozrDu PozrDu says:

Yes.  Fun & intrigue!  Now re-introducing NoMan!

  3. Really stoked on this, I was really happy with the first issue.  DC is taking a chance on this series so I’m hoping people are really checking it out.  Nick Spencer is quickly becoming a new favorite writer.

  4. Ultron8 Ultron8 says:

Looking forward to this, Thought issue 1 was really good and it left me wanting more. I have no knowledge of these characters prior to this and found them totally accessible.

  5. Evangelion11 Evangelion11 says:

art is really good in this book

This is… disappointing.  Spencer is kind of sucking at world building here.  He’s doing some very nice character work, but this entire issue is just a life flashback.  Not to mention a couple of pages are just nearly pure text bubbles and then 3 pages of just pictures with Toby and the redhead doing irrelevant things in their hotel.  I may drop this soon.

Also, is this in DC universe? Elseworlds? Was it originally an Elseworlds?

So much potential but this was a letdown.

  7. Granted I read my comics panel by panel slowly as I absorb all the text and pictures, I’m not a good skimmer…but I thought this issue was super good.  The flashbacks were emotional, the quiet moments were really well done, and the art was amazing.  I really can’t wait to read issue #3.

    Good grief! So good.

I’ve been a fan oh THUNDER Agents since I was 10 years old and bought all the 1960′s originals I found in a dusty box in my local Comic Book shop for CHEAP.  They are doing a great job here.
