  1. I might pick this up just as the “last” superman book.  Has this grounded thing been any good?

  2. Conor Kilpatrick conor (@cskilpatrick) says:

    @shiveringking8  God, no.

  3. AmirCat AmirCat says:

    @shiveringking8  – I want to do the same, just to get the Last Superman book.

  4. NeoProwl NeoProwl says:

    Not to be all hatin’ and not that I would buy this anyway… but this has got to be one of the worst covers ever. His face looks ridiculous, like a gaunt-faced baby’s head poorly photoshopped on Stretch Armstrong’s body.

  5. kryptonkid says:

    I am so glad this Forrest Gump odysey is over

  6. mikeandzod21 mikeandzod21 says:

    All of us who read this will be like war vets. We were in the shit. We survived. You don’t even know…

  7. mithrandir mithrandir says:

    Grounded no more! At last I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

    I kept telling myself I would stop buying this and for some reason I never did. Three cheers for perseverance and bring on Grant Morrison!

  8. AquaPimp82 AquaPimp82 says:

    This Supes will be back. Someday.

  9. mrfrost mrfrost says:

    @AquaPimp82
    I’m guessing it’ll be Grounded:Worldwide Edition.

  10. kineAg62 kineAg62 says:

    @mithrandir I told myself the same thing but still bought the damn issues. At long last we can put this sad depressing moment in superman history behind us!

  11. thehangman thehangman says:

    am i the only one who enjoyed this series? i saw it as an excellent character developmental storyline.

    however, JMS’s run on WW is definately the pits. poor guy is literally getting kicked out of comics, and his last two stories for both companies were One More Day and Grounded, two of comic’s worst-recieved storylines.

  12. serabird serabird says:

    GUYS. GUYS. GUYS. I’M SO EXCITED FOR GROUNDED TO END. I MIGHT CRY. IT’S OVER. IT’S FINALLY OVER.

  13. emberman says:

    I am buying this only because it is the last issue.  Whoever designed the cover needs to rethink his art!  Superman looks like a gameshow host!

  14. TomO TomO says:

    I think the only Cassaday cover from this whole debacle that rang true to the genius that, at least used to be Cassaday, was the Superman fan with the black eye cover.

  15. AquaPimp82 AquaPimp82 says:

    Goodnight sweet prince.

  16. mikeandzod21 mikeandzod21 says:

    That…that’s it? This whole story was…building to this?

  17. Whaaaaat? That was the ending? I’m speechless

  18. husdis says:

    I’m so over superman throwing out the ‘American Way’ phrase every chance he can now. I throw up a little bit in my mouth everytime he says it. Ridiculous over compensation for that whole ‘I’m not an American’ story….

  19. mithrandir mithrandir says:

    There were some cool moments in the Grounded story but it just never fit together for me… It just seemed to wander around (much like Superman … Maybe it was intentional!?). The part where he talks a woman down from suicide I thought was genuinely touching but the main villain didn’t show up in most issues, had very lite development and then is suddenly head of a league of future Supes … Glad it’s done.
