SUPERBOY #3
Superboy_Full_3

When N.O.W.H.E.R.E. assigned Superboy to put down an alien prison riot, they couldn’t have suspected his powers would bring the entire prison down on top of him. Inside the wreckage, he’ll find a mysterious – and gorgeous – alien who could help him escape… but does she want to?

Meanwhile, Superboy’s handler, Rose Wilson, is about to discover that she is connected to the origin of her “assignment” in a way she never imagined!

did we find out who the redheaded girl is yet and if she is tied to the old dc/wildstorm u?

    2. unclerocco unclerocco says:

Yup, she’s Caitlin Fairchild from Gen 13, but we don’t have details.

I’m loving this book so far I do hope as the book goes it starts to show that superboy has a heart too.

    4. yyzKyle yyzKyle says:

This book is very good. I am starting to see though why some people are frustrated with this being so closely tied to Teen Titans which is still struggling to find its way.

    5. CaseyJustice CaseyJustice says:

A good book, but as my pull list becomes more and more bloated titles that don’t get me super excited, such as this one, really need to blow me away to stay on the list. This is make or break for me.

I totally agree with you. Superboy was one of the issues I was excited for, but it is getting frustrating that it’s still hard to connect with this Superboy. Issue #3 is also make or break for me.

    6. CaseyJustice CaseyJustice says:

Very good. The development of Superboy and the mystery of Red and N.O.W.H.E.R.E. really ramped up in this issue, and it really worked for me. Sticking around.

    7. Limitless Limitless says:

All I can say is I love this book. The humor, the art, the story, everything is just fun and interesting. This may be my favorite of the new titles, which is a complete shocker to me considering how little I cared about the character before now. Just so much fun.

    8. AlanMac AlanMac says:

Am I reading too much into this or are they hinting around the idea in this book that Deathstroke was a member of Team 7? That would make so much sense I’d love it. Rose and the first Ravager then become Gen13 by default due to inheriting from the experiments done to their father.

    9. BCDX97 BCDX97 says:

Gen 13 and Superboy fit perfectly well together, I’m glad DC made it so. This book is pretty cool so far.

I cant stay with this book anymore. It’s not bad but it’s not good enough to make the cut into my permanent pull list. Also dont really like the art style that much. 3.5/5 Dropped

    11. Flash923 Flash923 says:

Good fun Gen 13 at the end; really was not expecting that so quickly. Very cool though; should make for a lot of good stories.

      Just sayin’,

POTW for me. I really liked Batwoman ( it is top notch comics for sure ) but I just am compelled to give Superboy the nod this week. I like what they are doing with this book and I think it’s going to be fun to follow this boy on his voyage of discovery.

I’m five-starring this for the return of Caitlin Fairchild. One step closer to getting Gen13 back.
