  1. This sounds SO cool.

  2. wonder if these will be original stories or based off dc/vertigo characters

  3. Damn I hope this is good.

  4. I love Snyder and Lemire. I’m in.

  5. I’d never heard of this but it sounds fucking mind blowing!

  6. yeah i dunno maybe.$8 is an off putting pricepoint regardless of page count. Def an in store flip through

  7. Pretty sure they’re all original characters, but that does look like Metamorpho on the cover…

  8. That’s Ultra the Multi-Alien

  9. I think I remember hearing about this around the same time they announce Dark Horse Presents was coming back.

  10. According to the Comic Alliance, there is no Scott Snyder story…wish I’d known that before I ordered it 3 months ago. Annoying!

How can I not buy this for 7.99?  Sounds AWESOME!

  12. Yay space! Boo taxes!

  13. The GREENLANTERN movie banner on this pissed me off and I did NOT buy this book.  There were alot of copies so I may pick it up on a later date, but today I said to my self, that banner is so out of place I am gonna pass on this book.

  14. Yeah. Annoying seeing Ryan Reynolds face next to the Vertigo logo.

  15. Thirded.  I got my DC Universe in your Vertigo, you got my Vertigo in your DC Universe.  This is one case where it doesn’t work.

Or maybe this is the beginning of what Josh Flanagan was talking about.

  16. Any of you who didn’t buy this because of the Green Lantern banner are crazy.  It was all amazing.

  17. A lil crazy maybe but it is not like this book was gonna sell out at my store they had a ton of copies and it looked dumb.  I bought (the last copy of) WILL WORLD and that had no banner on it and to me being a GreenLantern book it should have ( glad it did not though ).

  18. The book did not look dumb, the banner did.

  19. Great read. I enjoyed this more than Dark Horse Presents. Also, I would love to see Paul Pope do some interiors for this book.

  20. This was really good, better than something like heavy metal has been the last decade or so.
7.99 cover price for 80 pages though, that kinda hurts. If this was monthly i probably wouldn’t buy it, but every now and then i can take the hit. I would probably buy it as a monthly at 6.99… although i realize that it’s more than double the size of a regular DC issue so i should expect it to price accordingly i think bulk should = discount

  21. Good read. If you missed it because you didn’t like the cover, …too bad, so sad.

Reminded me  of SF paperbacks in the eighties and nineties. Challenging and familiar at the same time. Nice mind expansion on a light week (for me).
    …Ahh, reading… Wait. It’s Summer. Where’s my prose stack?…
