  1. Awesome cover.

  2. This is what……8 months late?

  3. Spawn #200, eh? Huh. Who knew?  I remember when #1 came out and was the biggest thing in the schoolyard because it had lots of swear words and blood and guts and stuff. Then comicdom imploded. Fun time, indeed.

  4. @Andrew  I reread those first 10 or so issues of Spawn a few months ago. Damn, people think Bendis and Kevin Smith are wordy, but they got nothing on McFarlane. Every page that Tony Twist is one there’s paragraphs of dialogue for him. It’s ridiculous.

  5. @RoiVampire  Oh boy, I remember that. Same thing when he wrote Spider-Man. “TORMENT!”

  6. @Andrew  Oh man yeah. what a wordy sonofabitch.  but that seems to hold up a little better than the first few arcs of Spawn. It seems like he was trying too hard to be edgy and cool

  7. Almost picked this up for nostalga but passed on it.

  8. This was a lot better than I thought it would be and surprisingly easy to follow for someone who hasn’t read spawn since somewhere around issue 30

  9. man i remember buying the first 10 or 15 issues when they were new…..it was the Hot sh#t what i was like 15. Like JesTr, i almost bought this for nostalgia. I flipped through it, i wanted to like it, but yeah…not my thing anymore.

Nice job on getting to #200 though!
