  1. The first issue was surprisingly good. The art and writing was really solid.

  2. Of the tie in series this is probably the closest to dropped. But I love the Paladin so it may turn it around.

  3. Of the tie-in series I’m reading this and Moon Knight, and picking up some of the one-shots.

I think this series is pretty good. The art’s not quite as good, but the coloring still fits the mood of the DD world. The story’s backing up the main events of Shadowland well. Plus it’s done a fine job of introducing these characters to me that I don’t know in a way that is keeping me interested. It’s not essential to the larger Shadowland plot, but it is very enjoyable. I’m definitely on board to see where it goes next. I’d go 4 for story, 3 for art.

My biggest beefs are with the main Shadowland title (both in writing & art) & the Cassaday covers which have been flat-out poor. Kind of surprising to have an event where tie-ins & the Daredevil title have been so much better than the main event title.  With Blood on the Streets & Daredevil being as good as they are, it’s bizarre to think that the Shadowland book was written by the same guys.

  4. Shroud/Paladin just puts a smile on my face and the Misty Knight stuff is alright, but the Silver Sable stuff is just wasted pages.
